About Lauren Villano, AKBD

Lauren Villano, AKBD, graduated from Marymount University in 2005 with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Interior Design.  Upon graduation, she began working for a large retailer as a Kitchen and Bath Designer where she gained knowledge on the kitchen and bath industry from designing, to selling and ordering, through installation and beyond.  While there, she took numerous classes with the National Kitchen and Bath Association including courses on construction, plumbing, hvac, building materials and kitchen and bath design guidelines.  It was through these classes that Lauren became more passionate about kitchen and bath design.  In 2007, she was able to attain her Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer certification from the NKBA and hopes to soon gain the title of Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD).  Following her time in retail, Lauren worked for a local homebuilder where she was able to closely learn the ins and outs of home construction.  She eventually followed her heart back to kitchen and bath design, working for a short time for a custom cabinet maker, and subsequently landing at Jarrett Design, LLC where she enjoys working closely with homeowners and providing them and their projects with detailed attention to achieve an end result that is everything they dreamed of and more.
