An entire house remodel requires careful consideration to ensure an aesthetically cohesive end result that offers added functionality and reflects the personalities of the homeowners. When our Tiffany Drive Remodel clients came to us with their project, it was evident that they were discerning remodelers who had plenty of experience. They were familiar with materials and finishes and knew what they wanted for their home. They looked to us to help them bring everything together with added functionality and extreme attention to detail.
It was clear upon entering the home that the layout and flow could be improved upon. The ultimate layout required hours of pondering, taking into consideration the constraints of the space and the wish list at hand. Removing the wall between the kitchen and living room, and closing up the doorway between the kitchen and dining room allowed us to rethink the use of those spaces, creating a laundry room and office out of the existing dining room, and moving the dining room into the rarely used living room space. The need for a drop area in the tiny mudroom arose. We tucked a cute, efficient bench with a drop area into the space. The master bathroom features his and hers vanities flanking a make-up counter and seat.
The kitchen was our main focus. Many hours were spent revising and making sure every single detail was considered. The homeowners’ appreciation for finely crafted, high quality materials and finishes led us to Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry for this room. We all agreed that Danby marble was the clear choice for the counters and full height backsplash which proved to be the absolutely stunning focal point. High end appliances from SubZero-Wolf and Miele complete the package. Polished nickel hardware and fabulous pendant lighting round out the elegant aesthetic.
