Jill graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. She worked as an engineer for Merck and Co. as well as for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. While working as an engineer and raising her family, she remodeled her first home, designed her second home, and freelanced as a designer. In August of 2004, Jill decided to pursue her passion for design by taking classes with The National Kitchen and Bath Association. She worked for a local kitchen dealer from 2004 – 2006. There she learned about every aspect of the kitchen and bath industry and gained much experience interfacing with clients, contractors, and vendors. In 2006, with great excitement, Jill launched her own business, Jarrett Design LLC. In 2009, she earned her CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and CBD (Certified Bath Designer) from the NKBA. Jesse graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a focus in Audio Engineering. During college, he worked for commercial and residential contractors where he received a feeling of pride when combining technical engineering work with a dash of creativity. His interest in kitchen design developed while interning for a countertop manufacturer specializing in custom wood crafting. Jesse joined Jarrett Design shortly after and is responsible for all aspects of the design process (including full home renovations and new builds). Jesse is always eager to reach the install phase of a project where he excels in coordinating with contractors and vendors to bring highly detailed plans to life. In 2022, he earned his CKBD (Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer) from the NKBA. Jesse is Jarrett Design’s exclusive photographer and social media manager and is part of the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Thirty Under 30 Class of 2022. In his free time, he enjoys producing music and helping his mother in her efforts to raise funds for her charity, Hearts for Haiti.
Marissa Monte will be graduating from Lehigh Carbon Community College in December 2022 with an A.A.S in Kitchen and Bath Design, accredited by the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Her love for kitchen design emerged in high school during a digital media class project on local businesses in the Emmaus area. She discovered Jarrett Design, sparking an interest in their brand and the industry as a whole. Marissa began her career working for a local countertop fabricator, gaining knowledge of a vast array of different materials as well as their installation methods. Marissa eventually found her way back to Jarrett Design in 2021. She proved to be a quick learner through shadowing and interning resulting in an invitation to join the team in 2022. As a Design Assistant, she focuses on developing plans within Chief Architect, sourcing materials, pricing, administrative duties and beyond. Marissa has taken her talents and passion to her family’s home as well. She refinished her bedroom set, installed laminate flooring in two rooms and is excited to get started on her first backsplash installation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog Murphey. She loves to travel and run, especially half marathons. The Jarrett Design team looks forward with excitement to watching Marissa grow with us in the design industry.
