Jill graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. She worked as an engineer for Merck and Co. as well as for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. While working as an engineer and raising her family, she remodeled her first home, designed her second home, and freelanced as a designer. In August of 2004, Jill decided to pursue her passion for design by taking classes with The National Kitchen and Bath Association. She worked for a local kitchen dealer from 2004 – 2006. There she learned about every aspect of the kitchen and bath industry and gained much experience interfacing with clients, contractors, and vendors. In 2006, with great excitement, Jill launched her own business, Jarrett Design LLC. In 2009, she earned her CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and CBD (Certified Bath Designer) from the NKBA. Jarrett Design studio, 312 Main Street in Emmaus, PA opened in 2013. In 2017, Jill achieved her CMKBD (Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer) designation from the NKBA, earned only by the industry’s most knowledgeable and accomplished designers. Jill is also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. She is committed to ensuring every client receives outstanding service, from concept to installation. Her internationally recognized firm has earned numerous awards on national and regional levels for outstanding design. The company’s commitment to client centered design has garnered recognition from industry partners, including six years of customer service awards from Houzz. Jill is the founder of Hearts for Haiti, a public charity that raises funds for the most immediate needs of babies and children living in impoverished areas of Haiti.
Dana graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz and moved east to work in book publishing and sales and marketing. Several years later, Dana took time off to raise her daughter, affording her the opportunity to take classes in Lehigh Carbon Community College’s nationally accredited kitchen and bath design program and pursue her dream career in design. At LCCC, she studied space planning, color theory, computer drafting, art history, and interior and kitchen and bath design. She also completed LCCC’s studio class, in which students design and install a kitchen and bathroom. Dana remodeled her own master bathroom, closet, and laundry room, and when Jarrett Design, who worked with her on the remodel, offered her a position, Dana was thrilled to join Jill’s esteemed team! Now a senior designer, Dana enjoys collaborating with clients on their projects. One of her recent collaborations was featured in Lehigh Valley Style Magazine and appeared as a “Featured Kitchen of the Week” on Houzz. Dana volunteers her time supporting local educational efforts that lift up kids and community, including her work on behalf of the Freddy Awards. Dana enjoys reading and has been a member of the same bookclub for more than twenty years. She grew up frequenting museums with her artist father. These visits fostered a lifelong passion for art and design and she considers herself fortunate to have these interests be a vital part of her daily work life.
Jesse graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a focus in Audio Engineering. During college, he worked for commercial and residential contractors where he received a feeling of pride when combining technical engineering work with a dash of creativity. His interest in kitchen design developed while interning for a countertop manufacturer specializing in custom wood crafting. Upon graduation, Jesse spent time traveling to Hawaii and Ohio in order to learn more about sustainable living, home renovations, and agriculture. After returning to the Lehigh Valley, he began training himself in all aspects of the kitchen and bath design business. As a full-time, detail oriented designer, Jesse isn’t afraid to push the limits in order to transform an existing space or a new build into a dream home. Jesse is also Jarrett Design’s exclusive photographer and social media manager. In his free time, he enjoys producing music and helping his mother in her efforts to raise funds for her charity, Hearts for Haiti.
Heidi graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Pre-Law. The fall semester of her senior year was spent in London, England where she took art history courses and visited many of Europe’s art and design museums. She went on to attend Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. After graduating from law school, Heidi worked as a litigation associate in New York City for the first eight years of her practice. During this time, Heidi pursued her passion for interior design by taking evening classes at both Parsons School of Design, as well as The Fashion Institute of Technology. While in New York, Heidi put her learnings into practice in several different New York City apartments and spent weekends visiting art and design venues throughout the city. After marrying in 1997, Heidi moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania where she pursued an in-house legal career at Motorola and, along with her husband, renovated and decorated their first home. In 1999, Heidi and her husband started the process of working with an architect to design their forever home. This two year design and build process along with the ongoing interior design of her home, again confirmed Heidi’s true passion. After a brief period as a employment law consultant, Heidi decided to leave the legal community, focus on her family and open an interior design store in Bucks County. As part of her research and preparation, Heidi spent roughly three years as a design consultant at Restoration Hardware, now known as RH. This experience resulted in her decision not to open a retail store, but rather, at long last, to pursue a career in interior design. In 2020, Heidi joined Jarrett Design to help Jill and her team respond to their clients’ requests to expand the already internationally recognized and award winning kitchen and bath design business into a full service interior design company. Heidi is excited to create beautiful and functional surroundings for her clients and their families. In her spare time, Heidi teaches Pilates, spends time gardening with her husband and son and is an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County, the Tinicum Conservancy and other local charities.
